Start by checking your bottom bracket standard (BSA or PF30) and the crank spindle length to target the optimal gravel chainline of roughly 47–50mm, and confirm the chainring’s BCD for bolt-on compatibility. Also make sure the Q-factor leaves clearance for wider gravel tires and that the ring clears your frame.
