Why We Like The Fjallraven Nuuk Lite Parka
Whether hiking in cold to cool weather or just out on the town on a fall or winter night, the Fjallraven Nuuk Lite Parka is our go-to coat when we need fully featured, cool-weather protection. The Nuuk Lite Parka is insulated with Supreme Microloft synthetic insulation to keep us warm in cool-to-cold conditions, and an extra-long cut that goes down to our mid-thighs helps keep us warm. The hood is adjustable to help keep out the cold, and the faux fur lining is detachable so we can customize our style. This jacket has eight pockets, with two zippered chest pockets, two hand pockets, two internal mesh pockets, and two internal zippered pockets to keep all our essentials organized and secure. The Nuuk Lite Parka is waterproof and features a polyurethane membrane to seal out all water, keeping us dry. Hook-and-loop cuffs allow us to close up the cuffs to keep the warmth in, while a full-length zipper and button-up design that features a storm flap ensures no water is getting through the front.

Perfect for the PNW
I purchased this jacket to replace a Skogso. I wanted something that was waterproof and with a bit more cover. This jacket is fantastic. I live in the PNW and we have damp "cold" weather. (rarely below freezing.) so this jacket is better suited for here the the standard Nuuk Parka.

Hurry up and get cold
Been studying this jacket since last year and finally pulled the trigger. Granted its not had a cold test but as soon as you put it on you can tell its absolutely solid. The zipper.... it's not that difficult guys so please ignore the other comments. Every detail is super premium. Medium correct fit for a 5,7 giant of a man.

Great for NYC commuting!
After getting through a NYC December/January where conditions ranged from 40F with heavy rain to nearly 10F with strong wind and snow, I can officially say I love this jacket. It’s very stylish and the warm adjustable hood is a highlight. I prefer the flexibility of having a versatile “lighter” jacket that can get through three seasons but this jacket isn’t super light. When it got down into the 20s, I just layered with a light insulated vest and the jacket remained effective. I don’t understand some of the complaints in other reviews… two-way zippers are always a little more difficult to zip up but with the longer length of the jacket, it’s well worth it. And no, my arms didn’t get cold in the jacket either.

light & warm & practical
bought ten days ago... light but enough warm, high quality, not too short not too long, true to size as an overcoat, large & functional pockets, overall highly practical parka

Size bigger than standard sizes
Currently returning it. I'm so so bummed. The quality is amazing, it feels warm, and it looks so good. Sigh, unfortunately, even the XS doesn't fit. How?! Small fits me everywhere, but I had a feeling it might not fit me at a small. I thought the small would be too big, but I would naver had thought that the Extra Small! would still not fit! Whats even crummier, that the shoulder fit was perfect, jackets never get that right. But the lengths were so long. Arms and bottom. Completely covered my hand, and bottom to my knees. Sigh. dang it.
