Why We Like the Ferrosi Anorak Jacket
The Ferrosi Anorak is inspired by the Ferrosi Hoodie but utilizes a more simplistic design approach for a lightweight feel with sufficient wind protection. Our favorite feature about this pullover is the generously-sized chest pocket, which secures copious amounts of snacks and essentials with a zipper closure on hiking or climbing adventures.

Best OR piece I've ever worn
This is the ultimate do it all article. Wind, water, sun protection that be stored practically anywhere - add in that there zero movement restriction and you have almost no limits with this thing on. If I was rich I'd have one in every color!

i have put this through the ringer
the ferossi items are my favorite multi use material, I have 2 jackets, 2 anoraks and the joggers. This weekend I was absolutly impressed with the materials performance saving me up on the mountain. I went to go snowboarding and my big jacket's zipper completly was busted. All I had was the anorak I keep as a spare in my car. I slipped it over the jacket thinking it would get saoked through with the snow falling. For hours of snow falling, May wet snow, it shed the wtness with no problems, I was massivley impressed. I already knew it was an awesome material and very water resistant but this was IMPRESSIVE

Super awesome
Love the middle zipper pocket and how you can stuff the entire anorak into that pocket then zip it shut. It's very light weight and breathable. The hood scrunchie is a little tighter than I like but it was made that way for a reason and it works well. I'm 190lb 6ft and large is perfect

The best Anorak out there.
This thing is the bomb. It stuffs down into its own pocket. It's light, it blocks the wind, it can keep some mild precipitation off and it breaths incredibly well. I love mine and you will love yours.

Great piece of gear!
Great lightweight outer layer. Doesn't not wrinkle as bad as other shells, and is water resistant. Spent 2 weeks hiking in Scotland and wore it most days.

Great jacket
5' 10, 175 and medium is a good fit. Very good wind blocker. So far no snags, pulls or tears. I have several Ferrosi products and all have performed well.

First Purchase in Preparation for Thru Hike
Preparing for an Appalachian Trail Thru Hike with no experience and no gear, I researched a lot of merchandise and gear and needed to balance fit, warmth, breathability, weight, price, and comfort. This checked all the boxes and made it into my pack.
