The color is an obvious wow, but that just scratches the surface. + a little longer than your normal puffy gives added warmth for those cold days on the slopes or climbing in the mountains + soft lined pockets (all of them) invite you to warm your hands in there and feel safe putting your goggles, sunglases or clear glasses in with no fear of scratching + a high collar (with a soft chin liner) gives added warmth without using a separate neck gaiter. When replacing your down jacket, THIS is your only and best choice!

I wear this jacket daily and especially on this International Women's day I tip my hat to all the women of the mountains, united by our love of skiing. The friendships formed and connections forged are stories worth celebrating in style.

Second skin

This jacket is exactly what I hoped for. Because I run and hike in Northern California winter weather I needed something breathable, warm, and flexible. This jacket is so light and comfortable it feels like a second skin. Thank you OR!

Great combo of Fit, Form, Function

800 fill packs a lot of punch in warm, lightweight down performance jacket with useful features like multiple pockets and hem cinch cord. Less bulky looking than other down jackets. Small fit worked well for 5'2" petite woman, though sleeves a bit long. Lake color beautiful. Purchased as gift and now considering one for myself!

Warm and Light

I took this jacket backpacking in WV where the low at night was 10 degrees. Along with a few other Outdoor Research layers, it kept me warm at camp and while I was sleeping. I kept it on while hiking the next morning and when it warmed up I took it off. I was surprised at how cool I felt after taking it off. Also love how it packs into its own pocket. I highly recommend!

Perfect light but warm

Got this and took it on a 40 mile section hike and it was great. It is lightweight. When I got hot it stuffed well in the front of my pack.

Super warm jacket and true to size

I've been impressed with the warmth so far and I'm excited to really put it to the test this winter. I'm 5' 9", 135 lbs and got a small. The jacket fits great.
