Why We Like The Sky Ridge GORE-TEX Pant
When we're powering up the skin track or hiking through the backcountry gates in the Sky Ridge GORE-TEX Pant, we go confidently thanks to the GORE-TEX membrane that's sure to keep our layers dry from start to finish. Fully sealed seams further bolster waterproof performance, while Cordura-reinforced cuffs reduce wear and tear over time.

Nice ski pants
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- XXL
Gortex works. Comfortable. integrated belt works well. Love the zippers. They do not bind. Medium warm. Would buy again. More cargo pockets would make even better. No one seems to have a ski pant with more pockets this year.

Excellent pants
Excellent pants. I love the green color and they performed great in powder. I’m 6’ 165lbs and ordered a size small for a more slim fit.

So far so good
So far I really like these pants. Fit is true for a Large. I like the venting on the inside of the legs as well as the fit around my boots. Only reason I gave them a 4 star rating is the belt around the waist is not a quality closure or belt. Just a plain strap that you would find on a backpack, not an expensive Gortex pant that should last for years....

Seams are extremely weak
I bought this pair about three months ago. Seams are extremely weak! I work at a ski area where I require a durable pant. I would not recommend this pant! I have bought two pairs one being larger than I needed the seams still blew out. Definitely not worth the money

Badly made Jacket-to-pant attachment loop
Generally satisfied, although the jacket-to-pant attachment loop broke after two uses only.

Great comfy pant for resort use.
Pants are good quality and are great for resort wear. Kind of a regular/baggy fit. Small would have been too small. Kind of wish it was a more technical fit. They do stretch a bit with movement, which is good. They’ll be heavily used this year so we’ll see how they hold up!

Amazing ski pants except for one flaw
These ski pants are awesome! They fit me really well and the waist cinch holds in place. I'm 5'10, around 32 inch waist and M fits me well. The material is burly and the pockets work well. Why not 5 stars? One problem is that MH logo on the left leg is glued on and some of the letters have already fallen off over time after just a couple months of resort skiing. It's not worth the hassle and expense to warranty the pants, but it's definitely not a good look for the brand or for me when I wear the pants... I'm worried all the letters will eventually fall off, then I might warranty them. Embroider the logo next time, like other brands do please!

Great pants, one flaw
Worn for 10 days of skiing so far this season. Fit is good in a large at 33 waist and 33 inseam and 165 pounds. The waist cinch system actually works and stays tight when adjusted. The only issue is the jacket/pant integration loop. I LOVED this for the first 3 days, when the jacket clip would attach to the back of the pants. Effectively assisting in preventing snow from coming into the jacket/pant and the jacket from riding up. So simple, until it broke. After 3 days, the simple cord loop on the pants pulled out and broke, leaving this system useless. To bad, as it was great integration without the stifling heat of a bib pant. Not worth returning the pants for, but frustrating. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this as a great pant for the price. Too bad.

great Gore Pant
Perfect pant if you need a one pant quiver killer. Shell construction, nice pockets and waterproof zips where you need them. Fit is 'trim' not too baggy but not too fitted. 6' 190lbs and I have a large.

Solid 2L Gore-Tex snow pants
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Size Bought:
- Med/Reg
- Weight:
- 175
Solid overall offering from Mountain Hardware that check a lot of boxes and should be a good option for most purposes, though I wish they were a bit cheaper. The material seems tough and durable (but not rough), and the fit is relaxed but not too baggy with articulated legs lined with a smooth poly fabric that moves well with you. These run larger than normal pants (like all snow pants) which is good for different layering options, and the waistband cinch works well and seems to stay put (note: I'm at the bottom end of the size range for Medium and these sized down just fine). All pockets have waterproof zippers, and the handwarmer pockets are quite large but the thigh pockets are too small to hold a larger smart phone. The Hardware Navy color is pretty sweet and looks very nice in person (true to color). The ankles don't have zip or snap openings but they fit just fine over my (admittedly old) Burton snowboard boots.
