Why We Like The Mountain Hardwear Boundary Ridge GORE-TEX 3L Jacket
The resort's ridgeline sure is beautiful, but most of the time it's windy and—hopefully—snowy, and we like taking in the mountainous sights comfortably covered in Mountain Hardwear's Boundary Ridge GORE-TEX 3L Jacket. We really appreciate this jacket's reliable GORE-TEX waterproofing, and that it's surprisingly packable so we can wear it on tours as well as chairlifts.

Solid
To review the fit of this jacket: I'm 5'8, 150, runner build with broad shoulders. I went with small. Length of sleeves and torso are perfect and cant imagine going bigger for my height unless I weighed more. Fits a base layer and puffy fine. Definitely a little tight in the chest when layered though not super restrictive, so not a huge factor for the uphill. Inner mesh pockets aren't quite big enough to casually throw both skins in one, but that's a trade-off for the size of the external hand pockets. Otherwise, quality and durability are great. Removeable powder skirt is clutch. 4.5 stars rounded up to 5.

This thing is bombproof. Heavy-duty for when the weather throws everything at you.

Exceeded expectations in Utah and Whistler.
Great jacket! 5’10” 190lb in shape male. Used the jacket for backcountry skiing and for hiking. It held up in all the conditions Park City and Whistler had to offer. Held up well against snow, rain and wind. It was a little tight with lots of layers. Helmet does not fit completely under the hood but this was not important to me.
