Power Comp Saddle With MIMIC
The Power Comp Saddle With MIMIC differs a little from some of its Power brethren,
but only in ways that are truly awesome. It still features a stiff, carbon-reinforced
shell that's lightweight and smooth to ride on—it's just been built a little more burly, and with the comfort of women riders in mind. The Power
Comp with MIMIC uses hollow Cr-Mo rails, which end up adding more weight than
carbon or titanium, but in the end provide a higher level of durability.
And they deliver superior performance in aggressive seating positions. Now lets get to the good stuff.
The cut-out saddle isn't for everyone, and for us ladies—some of whom have been riding in silent discomfort for years—it's the opposite of what we want. Enter MIMIC technology, which uses decades of Body Geometry knowledge and methodology in order to create comfort women cyclists can finally enjoy. MIMIC's multi-layer cushioning system is molded into the saddle, and designed to imitate the body's response to differing types of pressure. This creates equilibrium in soft tissues, stopping numbness and discomfort before it cuts our ride short.

First, I’m not a competitive cyclist, but I do try to ride 1-2 hrs a day. The past few years, I had been having female “soft tissue” issues. And padded shorts just add to the discomfort. I loved my Terry Carbon seat that I purchased here a few years ago, but the long “ nose “ was becoming a problem. So this year I tried the ISM open mini seat, the BiSaddle,( not sold here)! totally adjustable, ( all three versions and adjusting my Terry in all sorts of ways. The first two, solved the lady bits issue but put pressure on my inner thigh bone and sit bones, and the BiSaddle was so Hard my teeth rattled and recent back fusion surgery was getting aggravated from the vibration on a smooth bike trail. ! So When I called back to Competitive Cyclist, they recommended this for all my unusual problems and I have to say, riding is back to enjoyable. This seat is still not as padded as the Terry but the trade off is worth it. I don’t have sit bone issues, and my lady bits and back are not aggravated any more. Thank you
