Love but Runs Tight
Love this product but it runs small. Usually wear a medium but the M pullover is pretty tight on me.

Love it as a base layer for skiing
I am 5'10" and 160lbs and medium fits well. It is perfect snug level to fit under a lightweight down jacket and shell ski jacket in CO. It is more snug than I would want for an everyday shirt, which is maybe why some didn't like this? The hood and neck keeps me warm without choking me. It is super comfortable. I would recommend it.

Weird fit; not for bigger arms or narrower shoulders / lats
I wanted to love the Vigor Grid Fleece Pullover, but unfortunately I had to return it. The grid fleece material is comfortable and warm yet light and breathable enough for high output activities. The sleeve length is excellent (I find other brands' sleeves to often run too long). I also really like the hood shape and size. As other reviews point out, the arms are snug, which can be a drawback if you have bigger arms. The chest / side seams are the deal-breaker for me. The pullover has stiff seams that intersect with the chest in front of the armpit and run down the length of the garment. However, on someone with narrower shoulders / lats, the seam placement and construction cause the seams to fight back against arm movement, totally negating any benefits of the stretch material. Raising my arms above my head, for instance, caused the pullover to lift up above my belly.

Vigor Pullover Replaced my R1
I must say, I never thought I'd replace my R1 as I've had two. I took a shot on this because there was no zipper when in Balaclava mode. I live in this now! I'm 6'0, 175# and went with a Medium, I wanted to make sure it was form fitting and it is excellent. I'll be wearing this as long as weather allows.

Love this thing
I'm not one to write reviews but I like mine so much that I bought a second one, which also isn't something I normally do. I saw some other reviews complaining about the fit, which is relatively tight, but for me that's one of its advantages. There's plenty of other fleece sweaters and jackets are more loose fitting. I live in Colorado and run year round and this is very comfortable and warm in colder weather, and the fact that it's not too loose feels great while running. I also recently did some winter ascents up a couple of easier 14ers and this was my go-to with just a merino wool t-shirt under it and a light insulating or hard shell layer over it depending on how cold/windy it was. The hood with integrated buff thing is great in windy conditions.

Perfect choice most anytime.
Used in the cold climates to cover face and assist in breathing in cold air for extended periods. Also holds heat in very well when used under another garment and allows ventilation when needed when used as a mid-layer by itself. Great design and quality construction.

Fit/Function
As expected it's warm but keeps you cool when you start to break a sweat.

Awesome hoodie
Love this hoodie! I wear it all the time. It serves as a great substitute for a balaclava when I'm skiing. It is super warm and I love to hide my cold chin and ears in the hood on windy days.

Runs a tad small.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- L
- Height:

- Weight:

I don't think it is AS tight as other reviews make it seem, but it is not a relaxed fit. I am 6'2" and change, 190 lbs, athletic build, got a Large, and it fits to my body. It's tight enough that wearing a baggy tshirt underneath is slightly uncomfortable and you can see where it bunches up, if that helps. I don't think it's too tight, it just depends on your usage. Trail running, touring, biking, alpine climbing, etc. are all areas that this would excel (minus it not being marino wool, the best material out there). Personally returning for an XL only because I have a skin fit midlayer already.

tight
Great design and construction. I agree with the other review this shirt fits tight and should not be described as a regular fit. On the OR product page it says next to skin fit which is more accurate. The chest pocket is stylish, looks better than just a base layer.
