Deviator Fleece 1/2-Zip Jacket - Men's

Deviator Fleece

Light but warm, easy to layer over or under, and comfortable. I wear this under a light jacket for cold days on the range or hunting. I also wear it over a shirt when running in temps below 50. It does seem to cut the wind a little and it definitely breathes well. It is also comfortable enough to wear casually out or when doing chores. Try to avoid fire and embers, I melted mine a little.

Per their usual Outdoor Research produced another great product. This is warm and lightweight plus very packable. Would absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality layer.

Men's Deviator Fleece Half-Zip

The Deviator is a great cool weather outer layer/cold weather base layer. I started a 15°F hike with a base layer and the Deviator and kept warm while on the move. A -8°F hike was fine with base layer/Deviator/lightweight synthetic down jacket. This is the first product I've found that is comparable to my favorite cool weather fleece, so I bought a second Deviator fleece to have in case my size goes out of stock.

This 1/2 Zip Is Awesome.

I bought this for my partner during the friends and family event. I love my Deviator 1/2 zip so I decided to get him two as well. My partner LOVES IT!!! He told me that it fits well, feels great against his skin and is so warm. It has been holding up in cold, windy weather and it’s become his favorite for skiing. He has been pairing it up with the Trailbreaker ski pants and Super strand jacket. I got him a large in case he wants to layer under it but so far he hasn’t had the need to do so. I’m so happy I had the opportunity to purchase this for my partner so he is comfortable in cold weather.

This fleece is super warm and compressed. Fits near and tight and still moves with you really well

Great winter running top

I've used this as a hiking/nordic skiing/cold weather running midlayer and it's incredibly versatile. Between the material and the ability to vent via zipping down the chest zipper, it can handle a range of cool to cold conditions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first use with the OR Deviator 1/2 zip was on a 9 day rafting trip on the Salmon and Snake river. It was the only insulating layer I wore. It moves with your body and doesn't chafe when rowing, hiking, or packing up camp. It breathes very well, doesnt get smelly, and dries quickly. This layer is perfect as a mid temp outer layer or under a shell when it rains. Im a huge fan and it's my go-to river mid layer!

Second Layer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I love is the fit of the garment, it seems like an extension of our skin, in addition to not allowing the cold to enter, the shell protects us from the wind and the interior regulates our body temperature. Can be worn as a performance garment or as a casual garment, great look and comfort as for daily basis
