Why We Like The Marmot Echo Featherless Jacket
Made to mimic down insulation, the Marmot Echo Featherless Jacket features synthetic fill that's light and packable but doesn't lose its loft when it gets wet. As much as we like down jackets, they don't handle moisture well, so rain, snow, and sweat can rob them of their insulating power. With the Echo Featherless jacket, we don't have to worry about a surprise shower or snow squall ruining our hike—or our jacket—because its Thinsulate insulation still will keep us warm when wet and will dry quickly to keep us safe in wintry weather. We like this synthetic alternative to down when we're out in cold and damp conditions or layering for high-output winter sports that likely will have us sweating at some point.

I love Marmot jacket.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For some reason, Marmot jacket fit me better than most. Small is perfect fit. I'm 5'7" 150. perfect for not super-cold nights or plan to use as underlayer skiing. I would say it runs a bit large, as I sometimes wear a medium but this small is perfect.

Layer jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Size fits perfect although a little bit more room on the arms, great jacket for spring and layering for winter

Nice, warm and sporty!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice jacket. warm and very sporty looking. it seems to run a tiny bit large. The color on the website is not too accurate. The good thing is that the color I received I like better than the one on the site.

Well made, not ultralight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the color (Cilantro, little darker than appears in the pics) and the midweight feel. Jacket is well made and durable but slightly on the heavier side knocking it out of an ultralight class (which it never claimed to be). 5'11 210lbs (stocky/built) and a L fits great, although feels just slightly short.
