Women's Blue Triathlon Tops

A good tri top should feel snug without restricting your stroke or run stride. Many brands are true-to-size—Tri*Fe runs up to 4XL (sizes 6–24) and Louis Garneau typically fits to XXL—while the geometry favors a forward-leaning bike position.

Both sleeveless and short-sleeve styles work across sprint and long-course races, with short sleeves offering a bit more aero on the bike while sleeveless improves upper-arm cooling. Models with heat-beating tech and strong breathability perform best for hot transitions, and 2XU tops are noted for cooling in hot races.

Compression tri tops boost muscle support and reduce vibration, which helps during long efforts and quick transitions. For durability and extra structure look at carbon-infused options like the Louis Garneau Pro Carbon Sleeveless, which pair compression with a race-oriented cut.

Expect thinner chamois padding in tri shorts that pair with tri tops to favor run comfort and quick-dry times under 5 minutes rather than long-only saddle comfort. Thin pads and durable seams balance short-term bike support with a lightweight, fast transition to the run.

Aerodynamic tri tops reduce drag on the bike leg thanks to aero sleeves and strategic paneling, which helps maintain speed during time-trial efforts. Castelli Free Speed 2/3 is an example that emphasizes top aerodynamics and breathability for racing.
