Toddler Girls' Green Jackets

Measure your child's chest and length against the size chart since toddlers commonly fall in 20–24 inch chests and 14–18 inch lengths. Allow a relaxed fit for an extra layer and look for adjustable hems, cuffs, or grow cuffs to extend wear over diapers and car seats.

For very cold, snowy days go toward 150–200g insulation, while 100g works well for milder chilly weather. Synthetic down or fleece linings keep kids warm even when damp, and a water-resistant nylon or polyester shell helps trap heat.

For heavy showers, a 5000mm–10000mm waterproof rating paired with a DWR finish will keep toddlers drier in sustained wet weather. Models like the Columbia Switchback II offer breathable waterproofing that works well for active play in the rain.

Denim and quilted styles are great for everyday wear because durable cotton twill and reinforced seams stand up to rough play. Many are machine-washable and provide light chill protection, making them easy to care for between adventures.

Features such as snap closures, grow cuffs, and adjustable hoods make dressing quicker and keep fit comfortable in a car seat. Also check for CPSIA compliance and brand details—Lands' End coats, for example, emphasize squall-proof durability and include thoughtful features for longevity.
