Tubeless-ready rims with a 25mm internal width work well with typical road tire widths of 25–32mm, which often run around 80–120psi depending on rider weight and rim specs.

Selecting carbon, aluminum, or titanium changes weight and compliance: carbon cranksets often fall in the 200–300g range for a stiff, lightweight option while 7075‑T6 aluminum stems balance durability with weights near 100–150g. Manufacturers also use CNC machining and hydroforming in construction, and parts are fatigue-tested for durability over more than 10,000km.
