Carbon can save weight and increase stiffness for race-focused builds, but it's typically found on top-tier components rather than everyday enduro hardware.

Short 40–60mm stems sharpen handling and are ideal for technical trails or bikes with slack head-tube angles where quick steering matters. Longer stems provide more stability on smoother terrain and are often preferred for cross-country or less technical riding, while downhill-specific stems prioritize direct control on steep descents.
