After wearing Nikes for years, I am a convert. I love my Brooks shoes. Plenty of room in the toe box, great arch support, and they tie easily and stay tied. No more double knots. I walk, not run, 5+ miles a day and my Glycerins are perfect.

Not my favorite Glycerin
I love the Glycerin and have been wearing them for about 15 years, but I did not love this model as much. The move to have some of the eyelets be fabric and not on the shoe made the shoe not stay tied tight. It also felt like the drop inside was shallow or the tongue was too narrow and that I wouldn’t be able to tie the shoe tight enough to have the sides of the shoe meet up with the edges of the tongue. I returned these and opted for the Glycerin 21 model. I wear a women’s 10.5 regular width.

Still very cushioned but very tight in the toes.
I ordered a size 6 because I wore the same size in two previous pairs of glycerin shoes. They didn’t have that size in 3 different stores to try on first. I took a chance at ordering online the same size. They are so snug and tight. The toe box looks thinner than in the previous pairs I had. They are no longer my favorite and most comfortable pair of shoes. I hoping to find a shoe stretcher or something to make them fit better. So disappointed at least make sure the stores have all the sizes in stock so people do waste money and buy something they can’t try on first.

The Glycerin 22 is nothing like the 21. I love the 21s and I tried to make the 22s work. The new design for the heel tab and counter is terrible. They rub and gave me blisters under my medial malleolus. Bring back the 21 design.
