For some reason it is nearly impossible to find hoodies these days that are 100% natural fibers. I got these on sale and love them. They are soft and not too warm. Other reviews mention the sizing being too small, I couldn't disagree more. I usually wear a medium and should have bought a medium in these, too, per the sizing chart. I followed the advice of another reviewer and got the size Large. It is definitely an oversized fit. Sleeves are too long and the body is baggy. I don't mind an oversized fit but it's not what I was going for. I am 5'10, 190lbs, and of average build. Just go by the size chart.

I literally am the epitome of a size Medium shirt. Literally every t-shirt, button down, hoodie or jacket I own is a medium. Even a couple medium shirts from Topo that fit perfectly, but this?! It’s small. Very small. It’s short and tight and a true disappointment. My recommendation, size up at least one size!

Seems like Topo keeps cutting corners; I expected this to be a substantial, durable piece. Just trying it on, I could tell the fabric was so thin that it would wear out within a year. They make it look more substantial by doubling up the layers on the hoody, but the body is unimpressive. Also, not sure why they have the armpits on this cut so low; if you raise your arms to any level above your stomach it lifts up the entire hoody, pretty odd choice when the marketing shows folks going out bouldering in these. On the positive side, fabric is very soft and the colors are nice. Just wish this was of the same quality as the Dirt Shirt, but with the comfort of a sweater.

stylish but not warm

This hoody is beautifully made but is very thin and not warm. For the price I would expect a more durable and technical piece that can be used in the city and on trail.
