Why We Like The North Face Summit Chamlang Soft Shell Pant
The North Face Summit Chamlang Soft Shell Pant is built to keep us comfortable for our alpine ski tours, climbs, and mountaineering missions, thanks to its stretchy, air permeable fabric. This softshell pant prioritizes breathability to keep us from overheating during high-output alpine sports while the WindWall fabric is highly wind resistant and water repellent to protect us from light and frozen precipitation. This pant is part of the Summit Series, The North Face's most technical products for extreme, alpine conditions.

Best Mountain Pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product for ice climbing, rock climbing, and hiking. These pants offer great protection against the wind and bad conditions, while also keeping you cool in warmer temps. They are all around my favorite pants while moving around the mountains!

Size up but amazing pants!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super durable and comfortable, just took a while to find sizing. Size up one if not two sizes.

Feels like a good soft shell pant but they run small
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these and the material looks good. Unfortunately they didn't fit. I'm a 36 is most pants and usually a 36 is pretty loose. I bought a 36 and they were pretty tight and I wouldn't have been able to fit a base layer under them so I'm returning them for a 38. Hopefully the 38 won't be too skinny.

Amazing soft-shell choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pants are really confortable and have a good fit, not with that baggy look. Very good flexibility for climbing or uphill in general, besides a good warmth ratio for fall/winter usage with breathability. Couldn't be more satisfied.
