Developed as part of The North Face Summit Series Advanced Mountain Kit, this ultralight shelter is engineered for elite mountaineers tackling demanding high-altitude objectives where reliability and weight savings can make the difference between success and retreat.

The three-layer breathable waterproof canopy protects against brutal weather while allowing moisture to escape during cold, high-output climbs. Carbon-fiber Easton Syclone™ poles deliver exceptional strength with minimal weight, while the Dyneema® composite floor adds durability against sharp rock and snow platforms. External-to-internal pole sleeves allow the tent to be pitched without exposing the interior to blowing snow or rain—an essential feature when conditions turn severe.

With minimal seams, self-equalizing guylines, and a waterproof anchor pass-through, the AMK Assault 2 is built for high winds and exposed camps.
