When we’re lining up on full-blooded downhill frames built around 83mm bottom bracket shells, we turn to the XX Downhill CL56.5 Crankset. It’s designed specifically for 56.5mm chainline setups common to 157mm and DH-specific 148mm rear ends, giving us confident alignment and maximum drivetrain composure at speed.

Built around the DUB DH spindle standard, the CL56.5 configuration supports wider downhill platforms while maintaining a balanced stance and optimized Q-factor. The aluminum arms are engineered for repeated rock strikes and heavy compressions, with machined surfaces in critical wear zones to improve long-term durability. Available in progressively shorter lengths down to 150mm, it supports improved ground clearance and rider stability on steep, technical tracks. Paired with a dedicated T-Type chainring, it’s built to withstand the heaviest demands of gravity racing.
