[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smartwool Marino wool socks are great for hiking and backpacking. Wore my Smartwool socks on two 40+ mile backpacking trips this summer and they were great, not wear any other socks.

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched from my old ragg socks to Smartwool back in the 90s and have watched them change through the years. I'm concerned about the durability of the cuff design and the newest socks seem to have gotten slightly bigger and baggier even as my foot has grown from a size 10 to an 11.

Extremely warm and comfortable, but size down

They're extremely warm and comfortable, but I feel like I should have sized down even though I'm in the middle of the size range - it seems like the extra padding combined with the fabric ratio makes it easier for them to stretch and bunch when worn more than once, which I typically do as these are my backpacking socks. #sweepstakes

I definitely will buy them again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I discovered Smartwool in Juneau. I spent a lot of time on my feet, and these were a welcome surprise for how great they paired with my boots. I bought thinner ones for running shoes, and was equally impressed. My recent purchase was to fill the voids in my sock drawer for ones I finally had to throw out. I'll be back.

Warm and fuzzy

I've bought Smartwool socks exclusively for several years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear Birks all winter. These socks keep my feet warm. I can't wear the sandals in the snow so my Smartwool socks work great in tennis shoes to my Tony Lama cowboy boots.

I have been purchasing Smart socks for 30 years and was dumbfounded by the renaming/rebranding of their socks. Unfortunately, I didn't have my wife order them as she would probably been able to identify the appropriate item. Apparently my PhD in chemical engineering was of no help and now I am forced to return the socks minus the $6.99 for shipping. That is NOT a FULL REFUND. Finally, MAX cushioning no longer comes in my favorite color.

Why go anywhere else?
