I've used it on a full day of climbing in Sierra Nevadas at about 8000'. it was in June, windy at the top and sunny. Surprisingly, some folks were actually wearing wind jackets. I only had this hoodie on. hood fits nicely over the climbing helmet. I also tried it over full face biking helmet. I never felt too hot or too cold. Great products and color. Sizing is spot on. I always wear medium for all my tops. 160lbs, 5'11"
