Shimano S-PHYRE RC910 road shoes deliver a lower, direct feel

The Shimano S-PHYRE RC910 road cycling shoe carries a carbon hollow core sole that sits closer to the pedal axle than any Shimano road shoe before it, putting more of each pedal stroke directly into forward motion. This build uses the DYNALAST 2.0 narrow last, which still widens the forefoot and softens toe spring relative to the outgoing platform while wrapping closer around a slimmer foot. Dual BOA Li2F dials with textile laces close down evenly across the foot, and a reinforced carbon heel structure keeps the foot from twisting loose during a hard sprint.

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I felt the lower stack height the first time I stood up on a climb, my foot sits right on the pedal instead of stacked above it, and that translates straight into how much power actually gets through."

A More Natural Fit

DYNALAST 2.0 widens the forefoot so your toes spread instead of pinch under power, now offered in standard, wide, and narrow for a true, locked-in fit without sizing up.

Dual BOA Precision Closure

Two BOA Li2F dials let you fine-tune tension across the forefoot and instep, for an even, secure wrap that holds through hard efforts without a mid-ride readjustment.

Carbon Hollow Core Sole

A redesigned carbon hollow core sole cuts stack height by 0.5mm, shortening the distance between your foot and the pedal axle so more force reaches the pedal with every stroke.

Premium Japanese Upper

The RC910's Japanese microfiber keeps the upper light and breathable without sacrificing the snug, race-ready hold your foot needs under hard efforts.

Anti-Twist Heel Support

A reinforced carbon heel cup locks your heel in place and resists twisting, so the shoe stays stable through hard accelerations and out-of-the-saddle efforts.

Wider Cleat Adjustment Range

The shoe's cleat mounting offers a wider adjustment range with easy-to-read alignment marks, so you can fine-tune fore-aft cleat position and return to it precisely every time.

Engineered As One System

SPD-SLR treats the shoe, cleat, and pedal as one connected system, not separate parts, so every contact point works to cut wasted movement and keep power moving efficiently from foot to road. The result is a connection you can feel with every pedal stroke.
