Good but the Sense are better
I own both the Sense and the Cross 5´ shorts and they look and fit great. The Sense are more comfortable (inner lining, elastic waistband vs drawcords) and the fabric is more breathable. So, if you don’t carry much and run in a hot climate, spend a little more and get the sense. Male 5´10 70 kg and the medium fit good. August 2024

Soft and Light
Very light and soft shorts, it does not cause discomfort when exercising, and the length is perfect. I like it.

Keeps Changing for the Worse
Seems Salomon changed the design once again, although this time not as drastic. The older model was my favorite running shorts, then came the next gen a few years ago, and now this one. Although the changes are not as drastic, one main change is that these are even shorter, about 1.5 inches shorter than the last pair I bought about a year ago. Logos are larger and the waistband seems just slightly smaller (or maybe the black makes it seem smaller). These shorts are closer to a 3" short and I wish I had bought the 7" which might be closer to the original 5". Pictures show new shorts versus those purchased a year ago. Just seems like my Grande coffee keeps getting smaller. Just don't do it to shorts. If you list it as a 5" short, make it 5 inches. On the fence if I will return these. Pretty frustrating.

Shorts/hat
I like the shorts just didn’t realize only had a pocket in the rear which is useless for anything you don’t want to get sweaty. I have a similar pair from last year that at least has a small side pocket to put my car keys in. Hat is just fine, needed something to keep the sun off the noggin.

Way too tight
Size guide said medium. They fitted very tight. Sent them back. Material is good though.

Had to return them
They fit really small and XL is the largest size they have. They're also not super stretchy and quote stiff

Excellent!
Very nice running shorts. My first set of 'pro' shorts. No pockets, which I knew based on website description, with single pocket in back, which can fit a phone. Drawstring seems cheap, could snap without much force. That was a surprise. I was expecting more. overall a good product for a pro though. i bought two on black friday sale. no regrests
