When Aero Matters.
The PRO Vibe Carbon Aero Handlebar provides the easy positioning of a modern compact bar with the aerodynamic benefits of an integrated setup. Handsomely finished with uni-directional carbon fiber, its precise layup is designed to be stiff when needed sprinting and climbing, yet comfortable over chattery roads.
Take a look at the tops of these bars. You'll notice the bar is constructed with an aerofoil shape giving maximum aerodynamics on the road. To further cheat the wind, pair it with the new Vibe stem and its low-profile top cap and unique faceplate with reverse bolts for reduced turbulence. The wider top also gives you a secure and comfortable place to hold onto the bars as well as increased rigidity.
PRO builds components for the pro racer where it becomes a question of when, not if, you're gonna crash. The PRO Vibe aerobar features Innegra fibers to strengthen the bar’s most vulnerable areas without adding unnecessary weight. Riders can now get up, dust themselves off, and carry on with the day on the same bike. Any road shifter/brake lever will work on this bar but what makes it special is its compatibility with Di2 bar end junction boxes for cleaner integration. Cable ports let you feed Shimano Di2 or mechanical shift housing and hydraulic or regular brake housing through the bars.
PRO adds a textured finish where you clamp your lever bodies to the bar as well as where the stem clamps. This increases the friction between the clamps and the bars so it grips tightly requiring less torque. The PRO Vibe Carbon Aero Handlebar has a 31.8mm clamp diameter and comes in two widths -- 40 and 42cm measured center-to-center. The compact bend has a drop of 130mm and a reach of 80mm.

- Q & A
Nice bar, not for sprinting
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I really like the looks of the bar and even though the top portion of the bar is aero bladed it's actually not that bad to climb with.
My two complaints which are personal preference over anything else is the drops are super narrow and I find it uncomfortable for my grip and would need to add some sort of filler to bring up the thickness of the bar while being in the drops. It is an unusually small diameter right there.
My second complaint is a good and bad. The reach on these bars is a little longer than what I prefer. It's an 80mm reach and if you want to grip the hoods and hunch over and rest your forearms on the bars also for the Aero get-away or TT'ing positing great. If you are in the drops and going to go for the sprint and / or just coming out of a corner accelerating you need to be careful of your forearms. I consistently smash my arm just above my wrist on the top portion of the bar, so much so that I actually get black and blue marks.
This long reach can also have another positive. If you do live in a climbing type environment the longer reach puts you in your racing position but on the climbs it does bring the tops closer and allow you to sit up a bit more to get more air in the lungs.
