Why We Like The Patagonia Nano-Air Light Vest

Whether we're chasing powder, snagging summits, or running ridgelines, the Patagonia Nano-Air Light Vest stops icy temps from numbing our core. We move freely and our microclimate breathes easy under the stretchy and airy material and insulation. The handwarmer pockets can still warm our fingers with a harness on, while the low-profile armholes and hem slide discreetly under a shell.

Temperature Regulator!

The balance of staying warm but not overheating when moving/on the uphill can be tough, but with the Nano Air Light Vest in your closet it is easier. I use this vest all year round in combination with other Patagonia technical layers to stay comfortable. It is great for keeping your core warm while hiking, ski touring, cross country skiiing, cycling, or winter running without getting too hot. It regulates temperature very well by being so breathable yet warm for its weight. It is a slim fit to layer easily and is lighter/has less insulation than the Nano Air Vest. I love mine and highly recommend it. I’m Backcountry’s Patagonia ambassador and expert, so if you have any questions, feel free to reach out on chat M-F, 801-204-4562 or amcclary@backcountry.com

So disappointing

I REALLY wanted to love this vest. I have been loving and enjoying Patagonia products for years...mostly. And, this vest is just wrong in so many ways. I ordered a size up from what I usually get in Patagonia products given some of the reviews I had read about this particular vest. I am also built like the women modeling the vest. So, I honestly thought, "This might work." The vest is absolutely too big around my torso, and though I am not particularly "hippy," when zipped, the vest feels too tight at the bottom. I will not be buying a smaller size, and would not recommend this product. And, I agree, what a bummer to have to pay to return it. About ten years ago (I know, eons ago for fashion) I bought two Patagonia puffy jackets and a vest that fit me perfectly. Rather than falling below my waist, these pieces ended right at my waist, and they don't bunch up when I bend over. The jackets and vest also fit my female shape. I am not a young, athletic man, and am not built like a straight up-and-down toothpick. I was hoping that this Nano Air vest would replace my earlier vest. And, I should have known better. Sadly, it seems that Patagonia is making things for women longer and more narrow. I am still a fan of Patagonia's, but loyalty is waning.

Overall very bad

Only paying for the name, paper thin, tighter than normal I have several Patagonia vest, recommend sizing up if u are wearing something under. For the kicker came with a huge snag, now I have to pay to mail back. Definitely rethinking this company in future.

This vest is a poor effort on Patagonia's part. We have loved their nano puffy vests and coats for years. This is not up to that standard. It is pretty worthless. Don't buy. We are sending it back immediately after opening. Bummer to have to pay Backcountry to send it back.
