OK budget starter helmet

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I thought I had the helmet on well. It needs to be on REALLY well to do the job. Tight back, tight chin. TIGHT. Mine slipped a bit when I flipped over SliceNDice in the Ocoee and I got sliced and diced. I've since switched to a helmet that has a visor to give a little more protection without having to go full face except for the big stuff. It's an ok helmet

All about the side cut

Really happy with this helmet. The ear pads snap in to protect your ears on the whitewater and can be removed on long sections of flatwater for improved hearing. They fit comfortably and keep your ears warm. Pic for the color in the sun, agreeing it is more of a purplish blue indoors.

Good helmet

Comfortable and the adjustable ratchet in the back is nice and easy. Color is definitely off from the picture but I dont mind. It is more of a bluish purple instead of the blue pictured.
