    Basic and simple.

NRS designed its Basic Nylon Sprayskirt for beginners learning how to kayak, but it's also excellent for touring in calm waters thanks to its simple construction. Nylon keeps this skirt durable, and a urethane coating sheds water. A shock cord closes the skirt around your hull for a secure fit, and the drawcord has a barrel lock adjustment.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

So, I have an old school Prijon kayak that I love, but the skirt was shot. This skirt was one of the only ones I could find that would fit the dimensions of my yak! Its adjustable which is nice because it fits anything Im likely to get next and at the same time allows me to have fun now. It has served me nicely in class 3s. It tends to not be as tight up on the top, so you have to kind of pull it up when excess water accumulates, small price to pay to save my hoopty!
