Obsessed!
I have been eyeing this jacket for a very long time. I finally decided to to make the purchase with the Outer Limits Blue. I am so glad I did !!!! The jacket is perfect ! Mid thigh length, double zipper, chest pocket, and light stretch. What more could you ask for in a jacket?!

Finally found my elusive perfect down parka
Omg I love this coat so much — I’ve only recently received it but the fit, feel, color, and warmth are just perfect. I’ve had other stretch down jackets from Mountain Hardwear but this is the first one that I’ve been truly thrilled with. I got the “outer dark” color, which is like a vibrant navy blue. The hood is terrific. The pockets are capacious. The proportions are just right. The stretch down fabric is so comfortable and ideal for movement. I’m traveling this winter between cold and warm-ish zones and this will be the perfect coat to travel with, that is highly warm but also packable. This is the coat I’ve been striving to find!

Stretchy!
Great Parka. I love the stretch. I wear it on cold days (40degrees+) with just a base layer. On really cold days I layer a sweater underneath. I am 123lbs, 5ft 5", and bought a Medium, I usually wear a small. There was some down migration at the shoulder but I washed, dried and patted the downfill back in place. For a puffy jacket its flattering.

You will want to live in this
I bought the stretch down hoody and loved it so much I decided to to try the parka. I live in Alaska and you need a lot of jacket options if you get outside much. This one makes me want to get rid of all the others. It’s the most comfortable down parka I have ever worn. The sizing is generous and easily accommodated a sweater or multiple layers while still giving you the air pocket needed for warmth. You could size down but at 5 feet tall and 120lbs I find it the perfect roomy jacket that goes over everything. The hood cinches down tight for added protection in wind and the stretch makes this feel like you are not wearing anything at all. It really moves with you to stop that tightly bundled feeling but still giving all the warmth.

I absolutely love this parka!
I'm a yoga hiking guide and CA Naturalist in Northern California. I'm usually a size medium, and I ordered a medium in the stunning and subtle purple color. This piece fits comfortably with room to spare for base layers. The flexibility and comfort of the Stretchdown material is remarkable. Everything about this coat, from the zippered pockets to secure my items while I play outside, to the slightly elasticized wrists and bottom hem, neck coverage, enclosed hoodie, and length to help stay warm, has me singing its praises. I love to practice yoga outside, and I've stayed super warm during my cold early morning sessions, enjoying full range of motion in this parka. It's also been a great casual parka for everyday use, as I like to stay warm and snuggly even when its not super cold outside. My only suggestion would be to include an elastic cinch on the hood and bottom of the coat to help enclose body heat in colder temps and wind.

Seriously warm!
I have several jackets that work well for layering and bundling up, but I've always wanted a more "seriously warm" coat. This one is a game changer. I now can use just this ONE jacket for winter snow days. I work and play outside year round in Utah. Camping, backpacking and climbing. From the desert to the mountains the temperatures can be brutal at times, and I’m going into this season fully confident I’ll be ready for anything with the Stretchdown Parka. Perks about this Parka are- It’s length. Especially in the winter a coat that goes past your waistline is a game changer. It locks in my core heat. Sitting out in the cold for long periods of time becomes easy. I ordered a medium (I’m 5’10”) so I could layer underneath, but think I could have gone with a small. I love the hood with a high neck that helps lock in heat. I’m a huge fan of the Stretchdown material. It is much more durable than your regular insulated down jackets, and still so warm. Less likely to rip. It holds up in different terrains while still giving me full mobility for so many different winter actives! Camping, hanging at the chilly crag, or even waiting at the slopes. The matte color green is easy to pair with anything and makes this jacket versatile for the mountains or in town. I feel like the abominable snowman in this jacket, like I could just live full-time out in the winter. Makes me excited to spend time out in below freezing temperatures, knowing I've got the gear I need to still have a grand time!

Great length! Perfect Puff.
I like the length of this stretch down jacket. It's sleek, comfortable, slightly water resistance with the matte shell. It's a winner!
