Fast-rolling Python 2 29in Tire brings XC speed with confident cornering grip
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I keep coming back to Python 2 when I want snap on climbs and predictable bite in blown-out turns. Setup is easy whether I go tubeless ready or stick with tubes."
Hutchinson’s Python 2 29in lineup is a modern take on a proven XC legend. The fast center rolls with minimal squirm for crisp acceleration, while squared shoulder blocks and a softer edge compound deliver that locked-in feel on off-camber and loose-over-hard corners.
Built in multiple constructions to match your terrain and style, Python 2 offers tubeless ready casings with Hardskin or Sideskin protection and Race Ripost XC rubber for speed and grip, plus durable tubetype options for classic tube installs. From training laps to start-line efforts, it’s the versatile rear or front-rear combo we trust on dry to mixed trails.
