Kraken 29in Tubeless Ready Tire balances XC speed and trail control with Sideskin protection
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I set the 2.3 TLR Kraken up in minutes—nice snap on climbs, calm through marbles, and Sideskin adds just enough insurance without feeling dead. It’s my go-to rear for big mixed-terrain days."
Fast where it counts and sure-footed when the trail gets chattery, the Kraken 29x2.3 TLR brings race-bred efficiency to everyday XC-trail riding. The Skeleton-inspired center keeps rolling resistance low, while taller edge blocks hold a confident line through blown-out turns. Hutchinson’s Sideskin reinforcement adds sidewall protection for rocky connectors and rooty descents, and the bi-compound tread blends a firm base with a grippier surface for braking and cornering traction. Fewer flats, more flow.
