Fit big

Not sure about the 2021 reviews but these run large and DO NOT have any type of belt or draw string. The waist has stretch but you could easily be trying to pull your pants up on the ski runs. Switched from large to medium.

DON'T Size Up

I returned this product before using it

These fit just as the sizing description from HH describes. I followed the advice based on these comments by sizing up to an XL and they were too large to be able to wear under a ski pant shell. Not only were they too lose around the waste but baggy in the thigh and a little long to where i think they would go into my ski boot which I'd want to avoid. I'm typically a 34x32 pant size and the XL's fit more in line with a 36-38 waist. I ended up buying a L which fit perfect and will be returning the XLs. So stick with the HH sizing recommendation.

I'm generally a 34 waist and size L is a comfortable fit. That being said this is one of the more comfortable things I've ever put on my body.

Great midlayer for the bottom half

I recently purchased shell bibs (Flylow Baker Bib) to replace my insulated Northface Freedom bibs and I was looking for insulation for the bottom half. This product is synthetic insulation, so think Helly Hanson Lifaloft or Northface Thermoball. The pants have zippers along the full length of each side, making it simple to put them on or take them off without having to get undressed. As long as your bibs have side zips, you can unzip the bib and add/remove this insulated layer. I am 6'1" 200 lbs 36" waist with thicker thighs and usually wear L pants. For bibs, I wear an XL and for this product, an XL fits perfectly (so I would say it runs a tad small). Would recommend for non-insulated shell bottoms.
