Features don’t work
Have been back and forth with this watch I love it but Garmin pay does not work, it used to but not after resetting the watch it won’t even let me try and add a card. Then the calendar has my schedule and events from my iPhone but shows the wrong days for them

Screen split
I bought this watch a couple of months ago and the screen split in half. No contact with a hard surface. It just split. I think there is an engineering flaw with the screen and how it is mounted on the watch

Out of service after 3 days …
After having used a 955 for 2 years I decided to upgrade to the 965 but unfortunately after 3 days of use it suddenly went “out of service” without any sign of life (black screen). It’s now under repair, let’s see how long it takes …

Disappointing watch
Maybe it’s just my device but there seems to be a 5 second lag with live pace/gps and heart rate. For the price it’s disappointing

Get Something Else!
I had previously owned a different fitness watch. Upset that the company took off the music app I use (and allowing for too many steps during the day), I decided to switch to Garmin. Specifically, I chose the Forerunner 965. Horrible decision. There are too many buttons. While I am most definitely not the brightest bulb, you should not need a manual to figure out how to use a fitness watch. Then, perhaps my favorite- it is impossible to download Apple Music. The directions given by Garmin on how to do it on an IPhone do NOT match with what is on the actual IPhone.

Garmin watch great. Garmin Connect TERRIBLE!!
Really liked Garmin forever, but since they changed Garmin Connect it has made me rethink a different watch. Whoever came up and decided to change Garmin Connect ruined the Garmin brand and should be fired.

More Features to Help with training
I am very pleased with this watch. As a triathlete, I like the heart rate feature while swimming, as well as the auto switch option between events in a triathlon. There have been races where I am I to the bike a mile or two and realized I did t switch from transition to biking.

Great watch
I’ve had multiple Garmin watches, the last was the original 935 when it first was released years ago, still a great watch and only replaced because there was features I wanted in the 965 that aren’t available in the 935. I can honestly say the 965 beats out my expectations. Personally I think it’s more accurate, also gets GPS signal incredibly quick even when traveling abroad. The display is fantastic. Well worth it, just get it.

Excellent
While traveling outside the US, the GPS is outstanding. Perfect maps for all my runs, and walks. The stamina feature is excellent. The morning reports are a great feature.
