    The perfect pack

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've got this pack for a seven day bikepacking trip to chilcotin mountains. But apart from that, I've also worn it for the longer day rides. There are plenty of pockets. The hip belt is super supportive and the pack doesn't move at all. One nice thing is that the helmet pocket is perfect for putting my dslr camera. I would never carry it before because its wide with the lens but facing up it fits perfectly.

It's a bit much for a ride that couple of hrs. But anything longer and its great.

I'm 5'7 and ordered a Medium but that was way too big. Small works out perfectly for me.

    Perfect Pack for long rides

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I originallt bought the 30L version of this pack for the Telluride to Moab San Juan Hut trip. Upon delivery I decided that it was a bit too big and returned it for the Blackline 20l. The pack was great! Plenty of room for everything I needed on our 7day 6 night journey. The pack stayed secure on my back. The tool pocket proved to be perfect keeping all my tools organized and easily accessible. On day 6 we had to ride up John Brown canyon in the rain and the packable rain cover worked flawlessly. The pack is capable of carrying both a full face and xc helmet, though I rarely used this feature. Upon descending into the Pircupine Rim temps climbed to 100 and the well ventilated back panel and waist belt kept me as cool as one could expect in the desert heat. I would highly recommend this pack.

    Feeling Protected and Equipped

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This pack was a great idea. I needed a little more space than a 10 liter Camelbak with back protection for Mammoth Mountain. The organization is great it feels comfortable.
I used it for a 29.9 mile/3,030 vertical foot xc race and The Kamikaze Enduro Race on Mammoth Mountain. I never thought it was too heavy or large for either events. However, I do have set the waist band tight to keep it from slidding up.
