Designed to be a well-rounded backcountry touring ski, we think the Carbon Pagoda Tour CFL 105 Ski delivers. This ski provides us with this well-rounded performance by combining a paulownia core with carbon fiber and flax laminates for a lightweight yet powerful ride, leaning on a balanced 105mm waist that feels wide in the deep and feels nimble on wind buff, and by utilizing camber underfoot and rocker in the tip and tail to float, edge, and pivot. Small details like a centered mounting point helps us navigate tight areas and kick turn with ease, while the pin tails further promote float without a downside.
