Women's Yellow Ski & Snowboard Jackets

For sub-zero resort days, choose an insulated jacket with 150–200g synthetic fill like Primaloft Gold to stay comfortable on chairlifts. A longer cut and snug cuffs trap heat while still allowing shoulder mobility for riding.

Hardshells are best in wet, windy conditions or backcountry outings when you need maximum waterproofing—look for 10K–20K membrane ratings. Softshells work better for high-exertion uphill touring where breathability (10K–15K+ g/m²/24hr) and stretch trump heavy insulation.

A snowboard jacket should leave room for a midlayer while keeping wrists and hem snug to block snow; relaxed or baggy cuts are great for heavy layering and mobility. Models like the Arc'teryx Sentinel offer pre-curved arms and helmet-compatible hoods that reduce chin rub and improve fit over layers.

Look for long pit zips, underarm or central chest vents to dump heat on steep skinning, as seen on the Arc'teryx Sentinel and Norrona Lofoten. Mesh-backed pockets and pass pockets—like those on the Outdoor Research Carbide—help manage airflow and stash essentials without overheating.

Sustainable fabrics with recycled-material certifications pair well with durable nylon ripstop or Cordura shells to resist terrain wear while cutting environmental impact. Advanced laminates and waterproof zippers keep jackets lightweight yet rugged, so you get both comfort and longevity on frequent runs.
