I recently go these bibs for work around the house and couldn't be happier. I needed something that was extremely durable and functional working with tools, etc. These fit the bill all around and if you are looking for durable bibs that can do it all, look no further!
Couldn't be happier

I got these and the zip-to-thigh version primarily for car camping, wanting something with warmth and durability. I ended up liking these more, as they were a little less stiff on the sides (although they are still quite stiff!). So far they've been everything I could hope for! The buckle is a little bit annoying to use, but I'm sure I'll get used to it soon. I ordered these in a size 32x32, and they're a little long and baggy.

I gave this as a gift, but anyone who has experience with Carhartt doesn't need my advice to know it's quality

I believe in the overall lifestyle. In the morning, between running, walking my Small Dog, and getting to work, I want to wear *one* clothe. Not a million, one. Sometimes dresses are nice as they also accomplish this feat. However, sometimes you want to do a thing and dangit, dresses (some dresses) can be downright tough to do much of anything save sittin and waiting.
I own 4 pairs of overalls. Yes, that is a fact, dear reader. And by far, the Carhartt Duck Bibs are the sturdiest, burliest of them all. Carhartt means business, and I do not mean the business of being hip (looking at you, Brooklyn), so these overalls are made to be worn in and worn down, repaired, then shored back up for another decade of use.
For my female proportions, the men's bib still fits nice around the middle, while a bit loosey goosey around the legs. Perhaps this is a symptom of my mostly wearing slim-fitting jeans and leggings. I'm a 28" waist, 5'6" 145# and the smallest size offered here fit me well.
Feel free to give me a shout for more tips on fitting as many snacks per pocket as possible in your overalls.
Quite the lady magnet

If you know me and you saw me wearing these things, I know what you might say; Alex you dont build houses, Alex you dont work construction, Alex you dont fix roofs, why are you wearing Carhartt overalls?
Il tell you why, cause I look great in them. And my girlfriend thinks so too. These overalls ride nice and high, but dont give you a weird bird looking profile. The pant legs are pretty wide, which was a bit daunting for a slim jim like me, but that is the nature of the overalls. Overall (get it??) they look great, and are especially nice for charming girlfriends with overall fetishes.
Unfortunately after demoing them around the house a bit, I had a revelation. Im a man with simple needs, a man who only wears a singe pair of pants each week, so do I really need a pair of overalls? As much as I adored these bad boys, I ended up deciding the funds would be better allocated elsewhere.
Ultimately, if you like being chest high in overall town, id highly recommend these to you. Great purchase.
Perfect Gift!
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 32x32
I bought these as a gift for my brother. He is slender and tall and got his normal size and they fit perfectly on him! He works as a mechanic in an auto shop, so these will be a staple in his wardrobe for work each day and are so durable, they will definitely last him forever!
good pants just sizing is way off
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs small
Good pants , just the sizing is so different cant seem to get the right fit . will try a different size
Love, love, love
Gold standard for workwear. Heavy-duty and well made. Great product.
Farmhand Uniform
Bought these for my job as a farmhand, as well as construction gigs. They seems solid and durable, though I haven't put them to the test completely yet. BC does not sell the women's version, so I'll have to suffer for a slightly awkward fit. They're very tight in the hips/butt area and loose throughout the legs, so if you've got wider hips I would definitely recommend trying on a couple of sizes at your local Carhartt retail space before ordering - that helped me!
Overall Review
- Size Bought: 36x32
- Height: 6'2"
Obviously Carhartt knows what they're doing. Bought these and immediately started using them for farm work and greasy things in the garage. Now I won't ruin my nice jeans. I bought them 4 in. bigger than my pant size. That way they aren't too tight, and I can get them over my jeans .
Let me tell you about these Bibs..

Honestly, there isnt much to say. They kill it. Durable, warm, and worth every penny. They arent insulated, but do great in cold weather, especially with a layer underneath. I found that they run true to size. I was worried they would run small, so I went for a 36 waist and they are a little big. I could size down to a 34, but I personally like the extra space for layering and relaxing in. Carhartt doesn't disappoint with these bibs. Its something everyone should have in the closet.

Really nice, but didn't fit me right
I LOVE these Overalls. Carhartt's construction and durability are amazing. I bought the 40x30 thinking they would fit me, but they were a little snug for my shape. Unfortunately, we do not carry any larger sizes, so I had to return them :(
Bit snug, even for a smaller guy
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: 32 X 30

Bought these for working out in the snow and weather during Sundance Film Festival up in PC. They were a huge help in keeping me dry and warm. If you have a gut or bit on the heavier side, these probably wont fit you too well. The waist area is definitely a bit tight. Personally, I wish I would have spent the extra money and got the insulated Carhart work pants instead.

Why have I never owned a pair of these before? Fit well, Shoulder straps could use another inch but other than that, YOU BUY NOW!
Great Work Pant
These are a great work pant, standard Carharrt quality and run true to size. These are not insulated but are a thick fabric and hold up in colder weather.
Trousers to keep a man working.
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Great material. A bit too warm for sunny weather but gives a good bit of extra protection to the kidneys in a cold wind. Hammer loop bloody useful on the farm. Doesn't fits quite snug if you have any love handles.
Carhartt Bibs Are The S***!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
In a good way, these Bib's are super durable and break in nicely.
