So frustrating
I got these bottles with the apex pro pack. I already had one bottle immediately warrantied. Which was great that they did that. But dang… the bottles just keep leaking! I have one bottle that sorta does okay, but the other I cannot for the life of me screw the top on so it won’t leak. Very poorly made. It’s frustrating to think I could get to the trailhead and have lost water already.

Improvement on the Old Design

- I've used it several times
I've been using the older version of this for 5+ years. I finally had one of the bite valves come off during a run, forcing me to buy a new set. The flask itself is about the same, but they made a major improvement on the bite valve design. Previous iterations were difficult to clean and dry because the bite valve had an internal cavity that was difficult to reach with a small brush. The new one, however, has a normal cylindrical straw shape internally, making it MUCH easier to clean.

Good size to carry in
Good size to carry in ski jacket. Will take cold or warm, not hot, water. I like the locking top. If you have the larger one and this smaller one pls note the lids do not appear to be interchangeable, don't fit the same. Great, well-made product as all Camelbak items.

No taste from the bite

Perfect for running
I bout this to put in my running shorts pocket while running. It works better than a water bottle as it collapses during use. Just bite the valve and squeeze. May pick up another one for hiking or longer runs.
