    Avalon Bib Pant

Allow the Burton Avalon Bib Pant to be your ethereal island of dryness in the middle of a deep powder day, and soggy pants will never send you home early again. Like its mythical namesake, the Avalon provides a place of refuge as you surf through bottomless white stuff, with a full bib to stop snow from sneaking its way into your layers.

Burton constructed the entire pant out of its 2-layer Dryride fabric so moisture won't soak through when you're earning free refills on a storm day, lining it with soft, stretchy taffeta to wick moisture with a little help from inner thigh vents. Fleece-lined hand pockets keep your fingers warm when you're waiting for your friends to show up, and a chest pocket provides easy access to essentials you want to keep close. Adjust the bib straps to get the right fit, and use the drop seat construction to get back outside faster during a quick midday nature call. Best of all, Burton nailed the relaxed fit of the Avalon, so you can enjoy riding in a pant that fits like a trendy pair of baggy overalls but still moves with you on the mountain.

    • Stylish, functional shell bib pant ready for deep turns
    • 2-layer fabric is waterproof and breathable for reliable dryness
    • Full-coverage bib with drop-seat construction makes pit stops easy
    • Multiple pockets lend a secure place for on-mountain essentials

    Awesome Bib

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 150lbs

I originally ordered a Large, but exchanged them for a medium. These fit great! The elastic in the back make movement easy. The “trap door” in the back is fantastic when stopping by the bathroom. I like how the straps cross in the back, they make you feel secure (i.e. no snow sneaks in). They are warm enough with a base layer in 20-30 degree weather, I never got cold (and I’m always cold).

This is my first pair of bibs and I'm stoked on them. Great fit, great length, on a pow day they can hold up for awhile and still kept me warm. The only thing I wished these bibs had were zippers in the front leg pockets. The only pocket with a zipper is the chest pocket. Other than that I am so stoked on my bibs and I wont be leaving the bib life for awhile, they are too comfortable for all day riding to ever go back to pants.

    Great design-- love these bibs!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought the poppie field camo bibs and cannot say enough good things about them! So functional with the drop down potty break option!! Great fit, slim fitting and flattering. Not insulated but I've been warm enough when I've used them snowboarding and snowshoeing in michigan. I am 5'8" with an athletic build (booty n quads) and bought a size L. They fit well and would highly recommend!

Just adorable one piece. I am 5’02” and the length is fine with my snowboard boots. On a cold day will need a base layer underneath but nice material. Easy to get on and off. Love this. Thank you Emily Brown from Back country for getting this to me right away!!
Chloe Kim had this outfit on! I saw it on the cover of Sports Illustrated

    Warm and Comfortable

Really glad I bought these. They fit great and the straps are adjustable. I decided to go a size down in these because I’ve read they run a little big. I usually go for a medium in burton apparel but a size small fit me perfectly. I’d definitely recommend these, they’re super warm and keep from getting snow down your back on those powder days!

Awesome! is the word she used.

I purchased these for my girlfriends birthday and I made her write the review, here's what she had to say.

I started snowboarding last year and have been looking for some bibs since then (snow has been creeping up my back with my current jacket/pants combination that worked fine for skiing, but not so when tumbling with the snowboard!). I LOVE these pants – ingenious design so that you can actually unzip the sides/back to make a pit stop without having to undo the shoulder straps! The quality of these pants is great with pockets in all the right places. They fit very well too. I am 5’10” and 145 lbs and I got the medium size, works perfect.

      Comfortable, flattering,and functional.

High quality, as you would expect from Burton. The fit is really comfortable and flattering and the colors are adorable.

      Awesome Pants

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: True to size

I have been wanting bib pants for a while now. These are perfect with my snowboard boots. They fit great over the boots, and have plenty of room to allow for full range of movement. I usually wear a size 4 pant, and I ordered the Medium. The only thing I don't love about them is that they are a bit long to wear with anything other than snowboard boots. These are just a shell, though. So make sure to keep in mind that you will probably need a thermal layer under them.

      Burton Avalon Bib Pant

I've had my eye on these for a while, and finally pulled the trigger. I'm usually in between a medium and large in burton, and went with the large on these. I want them to be roomy for layering. They are slightly insulated, which is OK, but if you're looking for a more technical / non insulated version, I would go with the Kimmy bib. I am sticking with these because they are super cute and a little less technical, more for just riding groomers and rompin around the resort.

        • Size Bought: small
        • Height: 5'2"
        • Weight: 100lbs

I have wanted bibs for so long! I saw these when they first came out and have had my eye on them since! I have been riding with baggy, long, slim gear for many years and I wanted something a bit more form fitting while giving me room to move. These things are super bomb I wish I was wearing them right now, they are very comfortable and flattering. I am 5'2 and like 100 pounds and I went with a size small, typically I would size up but I know burton runs big and I didn't want to get lost in these! My roommate loved them so much I ended up buying her a pair as well and they are great for her large hips and bottom ( I have none of those things)

These are another great pair of pants that will keep you dry, cute at the bar, and works for most sizes! Hit me up to try a pair with a free return label or talk about Burton Sizes and I can be your dedicated gearhead!
