    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased this large fly as sun and rain cover on the beaches for river trips. It works out really well as long as there is no wind. Once there is a noticeable wind, it takes a few very attentive adults to keep the thing on the ground and the poles from falling and hitting kids. The large size would benefit from one or two more poles to make it more stable. There are several tie down spots with great potential if you have some more poles. The anchors have to be incredibly strong on a beach to withstand even mild winds. Very large sand anchors or several 100 pound rocks may do the trick.
