Why We Like The Arbor Cypress Snowboard Binding
The Cypress Snowboard Binding was built for aggressive riding from groomers to steeps, with a couple updates to spark excitement no matter where we ride. Arbor kept the Cypress's double-stiff System X baseplate, asymmetrical highback, and flexible bushings for a hard-charging ride with a more relaxed, organic feeling on the turns. New strap construction keeps Arbor's eco-friendly presence in the forefront, swapping petroleum for plant-based materials that don't waver on performance. The dual-density footbed features impact-absorbing pods at the heel and ball of the foot to reduce choppiness, and it's canted for more ergonomic alignment for reduced fatigue lap after lap.

After reading about the hardware in these bindings (specifically the highback) I was a bit hesitant to purchase them. Price was right, figured I could rtn them if needed, so I pulled the trigger. The discs don't have a forward/aft adjustment so I had to move the highback forward a bit due to a historical cramp I get in the arch of my foot. Ok, to be fair, the screws for the highback are torqued high and a lil soft..... plus there is a plastic top piece that has grooves to prevent the bolt from backing out. This is honestly a good thing so they don't fall out while your riding. To loosen, all it required was the PROPER phillips head screwdriver, specifically the type for already stripped heads (four smaller extra points for more grip in between the larger ones). Getting the most grip/pressure required doing it with the binding mounted to the board. Before the screw backs all the way out, gently tap on the head with the end of the screw driver and the corresponding female piece pops right out of the highback. Comfy, looks dope on the board, and transfers loads of power to the edges. Can't ask for much more!!
