Wide shoes that are foot shaped
Why aren't all shoes foot shaped? I have been using lone peaks as my daily shoe for years and they are the best. The wide width is essential for my flintstone feet and neuromas. I like the new feature on the 8s and wonder why Altra is offering fewer styles in wide? Also, the color selection is meh...

Color is not as expected
I wear the shoes to stand all day at my job and they are very comfortable. My only complaint is the color was not as expected.

Comfortable shoe
I've been wearing Altra Lone peak running shoes for over 5 years. Wish the laces were a little longer (use them for hiking and like to lace differently for downhill hikes and they are barely long enough). Glad they brought back a darker color again.

Yay, they listened to feedback about colors!!!
I am so happy with the color options available in the 8s! No garish pink and purples and a better selection of more neutral colors. Woohoo!

The black is actually blue!
I've been buying this shoes for years, never disappointed! My only complaint this time is that the grey/black color is neither gray or black, it's actually blue! The midsole looks whitish in the photo and is actually blue. I was really hoping for a grey black look. Disappointing!

love these so much I just bought two more pairs
I've had several iterations of the Lone Peak (and liking some versions better than others). I bought the "Black/Gray" version which is more like a very nice blue with earth green sole. Love them.

Great, natural foot support!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will never wear standard toe box shoes for my runs again! Having my toes free to move naturally inside a wide toe box shoe is incredible! I feel like I have more balance and even notice the strength increasing in my feet too. No more squished shoes for me. I've been wearing these beyond just my runs. I've been wearing them on my rower, everywhere, and when I put on a pair of my standard toe box shoes, my feet were killing me within 5 minutes of wearing. I was shocked at the difference. You dont really leave the difference until you experience it for yourself

Please Bring Back the 5's
The Lone Peak 5's are the best shoe I've ever had. What happened? I tried both the 7's and the 8's, and they're awful. Somehow these squeeze my feet and I kiss the old upper material. These were an immediate return. Glad to see some color coming back to the shoes, but please, please go back to 4's, 4.5's, and 5's. Call them 9's and 10's if needed, but please bring them back. I can't find any shoes that compare to them.

A good shoe

Love Love Love!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really surprised and delighted by these shoes! The toe box is so roomy which is great for my wide feet. I've been using regular trainers for trail running and these changed the game. Running trails feels so much easier. These shoes really grip the ground and make me feel secure while running!
