Super light and super warm.
Let the lightweight Western Mountaineering Men's QuickFlash Down Jacket warm your bones when the temps drop below critical on your hut touring, snowshoeing, or backcountry skiing trips. Western Mountaineering stuffed this jacket with 850+ fill goose down to offer an incredible warmth-to-weight (only eight ounces) ratio; the down is also extremely compressible so it fits easily in daypacks or the top pouch of your backpack. The ripstop shell is also surprisingly durable for how lightweight it is. This jacket also features an insulated collar to keep all that wonderful warmth in your body, and insulated pockets keep your digits nice and toasty when you're trekking through the snowy woods as the sun begins to set.

- Q & A
Very Nice, and Exactly What You'd Expec
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
So.. there's not much to say about UL down jackets that hasn't been said: this jacket weights nothing, feels great, and is super warm.
Things I like about this WM jacket in particular:
-- handwarmer pockets are insulated and relatively deep
-- collar is pretty snug, so it prevents drafts
-- zipper seems well designed with backing tape and draft tube
-- WM stuff has no logos junking it up.
Things I don't love
-- No drawcord on the hem
-- Supershiny and doesn't come in colors that don't look black.
-- No stuff sack and the pockets don't seem designed for stuffing
I would say that the fit is "roomy" but true to size.
