Why We Like The Vasque Here Low Shoe
Lightweight yet ready for adventure, the Vasque Here Low Shoe effortlessly tackles trails from the mountains to the desert. These fit differently in a pleasant way compared to what I’ve experienced before, the padding at the heel was a change I was a little hesitant to at first but can honestly say they overdelivered. The lug sole is not only ideal for trails but also sidewalks. I am almost hyperaware of how often I use my trail shoes in the city to avoid the tread wearing out, but these are the perfect in between. I have taken them on at least 8 work out classes over the past few weeks and a few 5+ mile trail runs and love them! If I have nothing nice to say about a product, I say nothing at all but when I genuinely like a product, I make sure to shout it from the rooftops. I was today years old when I realized what makes these so comfortable is the anatomical last. I wear 7.5 in Salomon quest, 7.5 in Cloudultra, and 7.5 in Merrell Antora. The 7.5 in this style fit like a glove. #Backcountry Gearhead.

Awesome Summer Hikers

I've been wearing the Here Lows for a few weeks and love them so far! They are the perfect summer hiking shoe, as they are lightweight, breathable/ventilated, quick draining (for any stream crossings), very comfortable, and highly energetic/responsive. They also have fantastic multi-directional traction on slippery rock, yet the lugs are deep enough to dig into dirt, sand and loose rocks. I found the fit to be true to size, but have heard others mention to consider a half size up, so I'd say if you're on the low end of your size, go with your regular size, but if you're closer to the top of the range, size up 1/2 size. There is a heel cushion inside the shoe that sits on the Achilles, so that can add a little more volume but makes the shoe feel more plush and helps your heel locked in place so it doesn't slide around inside the shoe.

Versatile summer hiking shoe

This trail shoe is lightweight and well-ventilated, making it an awesome summer hiking shoe. The lugs on the bottom of the shoe are tall and fairly aggressive, so they perform well on different types of substrates. We have a variety of trail substrates in Utah, from desert (loose sand/rock) to watershed (wet/loose soil), so it's important to have a versatile shoe that can be used for diverse adventures. The Vasque Here Low does not disappoint!
