Compatibility with Thule Trail 823?

Hi dear Thule. Is Fit with Thule Trail 823 or 824?

Frustrating

I bought the Thule truck rack about a month ago that came with one set of load stops. The load stops however would not fit onto the Thule track? So a friend of mine machined them to fit. I order another set a couple weeks back and received them the day before my road trip. They too did not slide onto the truck rack. I am debating sending them back or have my friend machine them as well... Not sure why neither set fit but it's pretty disappointing when you are all set for a road trip with kayak board and bike in hand only to find the load stops are not compatible with the Thule truck rack. Not sure how to rate this - disappointed

Compatibility?

This load stop is presented beneath the product page for the Probars, with a heading that indicates the pictured accessories are compatible with the Probar. The picture shown with the load stops does not show a probar in use. The probar's top slopes downward. The loadstop writeup states "Compatible with Thule AeroBlade, Thule Rapid Aero, Thule Xsporter Pro, Thule Xsporter and Thule TracRac 'XT' Aluminum bars (sold separately)." So, IS the load stop compatible with the probar? I need 79" bar length so I'm stuck with the Probar. What will work with it???

Check compatibility with your Thule cross bars!

The Thule website specifically states that the Aero Load Stops 502 are not compatible with the Thule Wingbar Evo crossbars. One online retailer stated that the Thule Load Stops they stock, with a different product number, are compatible with the Wingbar Evos. This is definitely not the case. I was mislead by the product number, thinking that this was a Load Stop design that was compatible with my crossbars. Thule needs to develop more accessories that will fit the Wingbar Evos! At a minimum they should provide T-bolts in various lengths that will slide into the Wingbar Evo T-slots.

Great design

I purchased not 1 set, but 2 sets as I was impressed with the design of these load stops, that I decided to purchase another set of racks for the cab of my F150 CrewCab and made my aluminum boat more secure on top!

Can’t say enough positive things about these load stops. Had mine for over 20 years and absolutely love them!!!!

These stops work great for securing 2 canoes on top of my truck and they were so valuable to keep the canoes secured while driving through numerous miles of powerful crosswinds.

Incompatable

Is it possible that my new load stops are not compatible with my Thule rack?

unacceptable that when you order more as the other ones fell off that you get the load stop but no bolt or knob. luckily I was able to find the knob to order but not the bolt.

I was very disappointed with how small the load stops were height wise I’m a plumber when I carry pipe on the truck I need taller load stops. I had load stops from thule in 2012 They were much taller I don’t know why they’re so small I would never get those again if there’s a different option I would prefer that
