I NEED THIS BAG
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I have only used this bag one time, but honestly that is all it took for be to be 100% sold on it. I borrowed it for a camping trip that I knew would have cold temperatures, and I am so glad that I did. I have a 15 degree sleeping bag that I typically use, and it has brought be out of winter camping trips alive, but certainly not comfortable. This bag, however, far exceeded my expectations by keeping me toasty warm on a night where temps got as low as 6 degrees. I even had to get up once or twice in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, and when I returned to my sleeping bag it only took a few minutes to warm me back up again. I could not be more impressed with this bag's performance. I was the only one in my group who got a good night's sleep and wasn't rushing out to the campfire to get warm, and several of them had 0 degree bags as well!

Pretty great!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Took this out of our demo fleet here at work for a backpacking trip where my 20 degree bag wasn't going to cut it. Kept me warm down to ~20 degrees, but that required some extra layers in the bag. Anything below 20 degrees would be pretty darn chilly. Weight was on point at just under 2 lbs, and it was a comfortable bag with high loft. All in all a great bag.

Best 0F I've ever used
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
All in all, the Oberon is my new go-to sleeping bag for winter excursions. This sleeping bag does it all. It compresses well and is extremely lightweight, while still being incredibly warm. The SynergyLink Connectors ensure that you won’t slide off your sleeping pad in the middle of the night, and the Toe-asis Foot Warmer Pocket keeps your toes warm all night long. The only area for improvement with the Oberon, isn’t actually about the Oberon itself. The compression sack could be made smaller so that it will compress the sleeping bag further. Overall, the Oberon scores 5/5 in my book. It’s an excellent sleeping bag, nice work Therm-a-Rest!

SO WARM
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I am a very cold sleeper and needed something warmer than my 20 degree bag I currently have. I used it on our most recent trip down to Moab where it got down to 23 degrees one night. I was TOASTY warm which is huge. We woke up to frost on our tent and frozen waterbottles. This sleeping bag also has enough room so that I didn't feel constricted and could sleep with my leg up in the flamingo pose as I like to call it. I'm obsessed and swear by this bag now.

I took this sleeping bag on a trip to Nepal. It was amazing! I found it to be very comfortable, warm, and very well built. Carrying it wasn't inconvenient due to its packability and lightness.

Cooooozy
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I used this sleeping bag in the desert last weekend -- it was around 20 degrees out so the 0 degree might have been overkill, but whatever -- and loved it. It's big and fluffy and retains heat well, but still packs down ridiculously small compared to some other 0 degree bags that I've used in the past. This was my first time using a Therm-a-Rest sleeping bag, and I wasn't disappointed.

New favorite bag
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I got to take the Oberon for a "test sleep" with Thermarest in January, and I was thoroughly impressed. The weather was... damp. It snowed about a foot of Cascade Concrete overnight, and the inside of our tent felt like a rainforest. But golly, I was as warm and dry inside the Oberon as I've ever been on a backcountry adventure. In my other bag I would've been a shivery mess. I've been converted to a believer in hydrophobic down. I usually sleep cold and was a little worried about the 14deg comfort rating, but it turned out to be plenty warm enough (even with my soggy gloves and boot liners in the bag with me). I immediately said buh-bye to my old bag and upgrade to this one.

Is the stuff sack size listed with the bag in the compression sack or just a stuff sack?
