A new way to inflate.
From its speedy inflation to its heat-reflective warmth, Therm-a-Rest's NeoAir Camper SV Sleeping Pad is one of the most convenient pads for backpacking and camping. Its innovative SpeedValve opens wide so you can breathe into the pad without blowing until your face is blue. The SpeedValve takes a third of the inflation time that standard pads take, and a roll-top closure secures the pad for a comfy night's rest.
Therm-a-Rest made the NeoAir Camper SV Sleeping Pad with WaveCore construction, which uses wave baffles to retain warmth throughout the night. Also enhancing warmth is ThermaCapture technology, which reflects your own body heat back to you for more warmth.

Only way to sleep
Durable and light. It was easy to set up and also to disassemble. Most importantly the hard packed ground we settled on for camp wasn't a factor. Slept all night and never rolled on to any hard surface.

- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
I gave this as a gift to my boyfriend and this is the feedback he has to share: Not for the ultra light or minimalist backpacker, this is a large mat that provides ample cushion, comfort and room when sleeping in the outdoors. Works as advertised, kept me warm, and helped for a good night's sleep. Makes a small amount of noise as I settle onto the mat and seemed bulky in a small tent, but I'll bring this mat glamping as opposed to roughing it. Really enjoying the comfort.

Sleeping on a Cloud
- I've put it through the wringer
I used this pad at a festival for a week and it worked insanely well and did not have to be re-inflated a single time. The speed valve is a bit tricky at first but once you have done it a couple times it is simple and makes blowing up the paid ten times easier. You get it primarily blown up with the speed valve, and than use the regular valve to get it nice and firm. The material is subtle to the touch, but also durable and is the most silent material for a pad I have slept on. One of my favorite features of this is that it has the baffles around the edge which prevent you from rolling off the pad and keep you squared in the middle. The pad blows up to about three inches and is exceptionally comfortable and feels nearly as good as a mattress, having more cushion that one would expect from an air mattress. It packs down to a bit bigger than a 32 OZ water bottle (normal Nalgene size) and comes with a great stuff sack and repair kit. This quickly became my favorite pad and will accompany me on many adventures and nights in nature.

Neo camper pad large
- I've used it several times
Soooo I've had this pad for awhile......I really enjoy this pad. The color alone was the seller in the first place. I originally had checked this pad out in an outfitter store near me, but was only 80% sure so I did my research. New for 2016 this was, so not too many reviews. The fabric is awesome as restless as I am I get the same noise as sleeping on cotton sheets. Sizing is perfect for me granted, I'm only 5'6

Looks like the picture here is the neo-air camper? Has the SV not been released yet? Rei has it for preorder. If so, what is the release date?
