I've put it through the wringer

Dont make the mistake of passing this up. If you value protecting your gear and are concerned about its longevity, buy this. It is light and will save the foot of your tent much use. Down side to it was that it didn't fit flush, there was a couple inches play around the footprint thereby not matching up to the actual tent. This didn't effect usage or performance though...

Will not protect tent floor from moistur

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I set this up with my stormbreak 2 but didn't sleep in it since I stayed in someone else's tent. Nonetheless, when I went in there the next morning to grab some stuff i found a couple of wet spots that had seeped through overnight. It was a relatively light shower btw, nothing heavy by any means. The material is the same as the tent it seems. Would have been nice if they made it out of the same material as the tents rain fly. Oh well. Please consider something else.

Give me a break

I returned this product before using it

Even at a "sale price" of $34 (reg $45) this is a rip off.

If you are looking for something to protect the bottom of your tent that allows water to pass through, then the footprint is a nice touch. Sure you can buy a tarp to protect your tent, but the water won't go through it and the only place it's going to go is through the floor of your tent, which is not good! Also, it's a requirement to have the footprint specific to your tent to be able to use the "fast pitch" option for lightweight backpacking. Then you can bring the tent poles, rainfly, and footprint and ditch the tent body to save weight. It saves you a whole 2 pounds! Even at full price, that's the best dollar/weight savings ratio you will be able to find to lighten up your load!

What are the dimensions of this footprint?...

What are the dimensions of this footprint? I'm trying to pair it with my NF Flint 2 as I can't find a footprint for the NF Flint 2 available anywhere. (Everyone is sold out)

That footprint will be 48x 85 inches. It will stick out from under your tent at the foot. The Flint 2 is 87 in long, 54 in at the head and 44 in at the foot. It won't be perfect but it should work. i am a little skeptical of footprints that stick out from under the tent since in increases the chances of water getting between it and the tent, but this one wont be too bad.
