Why We Like The North Face Paramount Pro Convertible Pant

Chilly morning starts can turn into broiling afternoons in a matter of minutes, with The North Face Paramount Pro Convertible Pant we can be comfortable no matter what the weather brings. The FlashDry-XD material is exceptionally quick drying and treated with DWR to ensure that light precipitation rolls right off of us. The articulated knees allow for a full range of motion, and in case that's not enough we can zip off the legs and have complete freedom.

Mixed feelings

Used this on over a dozen trips now and here are my overall thoughts: Overall fit -- 5 stars Fabric & construction -- 5 stars Built in belt -- 0 stars The belt is held in place by the friction the fabric being doubled over a metal buckle. It is constantly coming loose and needing to get re-tightened. Not easy to do when it is under the waist of my backpack. If I can find an after market replacement belt narrow enough to fit these pants, they will be one of my favorite pair. Until then, they are the pair that I grab when everything else is dirty.

Be very careful

Be very careful with washing them. Because I just throw mine in the washer not thinking nothing about it. The bottom part of the pants ripped. Rip. just use them as shorts now.

Excellent Outdoors pants.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Premium pants great for hiking, running, working out at gym, or just running errands in town. The design is practical and material is excellent. you have two options on noted pants use zipper for shorts or pull draw strings on ankles for hiking pants on trails. I purchased all three colors and really like the style.

Great lightweight pants that really hold up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought an earlier iteration of these pants about ten years ago. I'm still wearing them, but they don't look as nice as these do. I've always gotten the most out of this product and will acquire more over time

Nice fabric

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks good and feels great. It seems to be of good quality, I'm going to try it better in a few months on the Inca trail.

Legging under shorts...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A bit small around the waist. Looks great from the side, but from the front, you look as if you're wearing leggings under shorts. But that would be the only negative point. Zero complaints about TNF comfort and quality.
