Keep 'em guessing.

Folks have come to expect the usual flannel-and-jeans combo from you, but they'll never see The North Face Men's Fort Point Flannel Jacket coming. Combining the easy-wearing comfort of a flannel with the warmth of a jacket, this lightly insulated jacket is the ideal companion for any après activity. Flip it to the flannel side when you walk yourself to the nearest barstool for a post-ski pint. Then, flip it back to the water-resistant nylon face when you need the extra protection during those snowy walks back home. The relaxed fit leaves room for baselayers, or an extra flannel when you really want to blow some minds, and the adjustable hem gives you the option to cinch it tight when you need to.

  • A jacket ideal for mild winter days and cool spring weather
  • Lightweight insulation offers low-bulk warmth
  • Weather-resistant nylon and soft flannel lining
  • Reversible design transitions between flannel and jacket
  • Relaxed fit leaves room for extra layers

Comfortable, Stylish, Versatile

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Large

Great jacket for looks, fits a little larger, but that was expected and intended. I love the look of this jacket and it's super comfortable. The pockets are very deep, you'll never lose your belongings. Only downside of this jacket is the lack of waterproofing. This thing soaks up water like a towel. Otherwise, it's a great jacket for a winter top layer, spring or fall jacket.

Excellent Fall/Spring Jacket

This jacket/flannel is one of my favorites. It's my go to 30F-60F jacket. I could probably wear it down to the low 20s, but then I would switch to something else. Beyond the style and reversibility, I love the fit. I want to say its a slightly long/slim fit but in a size down way. For example, I like the long/style fit. I am normally a L. I went M in this and it was perfect.

Warmth without mobility restrictions

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The shell is waterproof and handles how a bulkier winter jacket would during snow flurries, but has the flexability and thickness of a lighter jacket. Plus, the flannel liner is both warm and aesthetically pleasing.
This jacket is an all around winner.

Great Shacket

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL

I got this jacket years ago and it was my go-to for a couple of winters because it is impressively warm for how thin and light it is. I wore mine so much it got pretty dirty and I got pretty sick of it, so I was stoked to see they are still making it and have fresh colors this year.

I wear the XL so I can fit heavy flannels under it comfortably, with a t-shirt though the XL is a bit excessive I could definitely do a Large. So if you plan on using it to bundle up and survive super cold temps I'd go big, but for fall/spring around town type stuff just go true to size.

Double the fun!

One of my favorite purchases from backcountry. As soon as I got this I took it camping and was so toasty. I will say wearing it with the flannel side out is a little chilly because of the polyester shell, but flannel side in no problems and rain resistant is always a plus. It does fit a little big, I ordered a large and it fits like an XL.
