Definitely a steal

The dark gray color goes with everything.. I've had one for 5 years now and still continue to get compliments to this day. Been through everything with this jacket and it still looks good as new

Love this jacket

True to size. Classy looking jacket that can be dressed up or casual. It's very comfortable, nice length and appropriately water resistant.

Good lightweight jacket for wind and moisture protection.

I use this primarily over a sweatshirt in colder weather, haven't worn it alone yet but it's better than a similar Northface lightweight jacket I bought 6-8 years ago. This one provides better rain and snow protection.

Dark Grey Heather colorway is VERY uncomfortable!

I purchased this jacket in the Dark Grey Heather color expecting it to fit similarly to my older NF jackets. I don't know why but this specific colorway is made with a VERY stiff, (no flexibility) material for the outer shell. It's incredible uncomfortable to wear and move around in. Very restricting through the shoulders. For reference I returned it and purchased the TNF black colorway because it's WAY BETTER and much more flexible. The material for the outer shell is completely different and what I'm used to with this kind of jacket.

I would buy this jacket again!

This jacket can easily be worn as a casual jacket or even as a work jacket. It's light weight but also provides the warmth that I need, and the comfort that I am used to with other North Face Products too.

Yes, but purchasing a larger size for me son

It is a very nice jacket, unfortunately it was a bit too small. I'm returning it to purchase a larger size for my sister.

I wish i bought earlier versions

I have about 6 apex bionic jackets (hoodless) and I love them. However, their quality is no longer there. First the fit is super tight under your shoulder/armit area as you move your arms up and about. It almost feels like its cutting yiur skin when you move your arms. The fit alone is enough to return the product but it doesnt end there. Previous version had a very nice looking zipper pulls ith attention to detail, now not only are they smaller but also of poor quality. Previous version i believe bionic 1 and 2 had a softer more mendable fabric now it feels hard as though your are wearing thick cardboard. The chest pocket opening and overall size of the pocket are smaller. The zipper opening of that pocket has decreased to such extend that the top and bottom scratches my hand when zipper is fully opened to put my phone in. Finally, you would expect to have innovative or new improvements over the years but its going backwards. They have not even added an interior big zipper pocket for something like a 8.5x11 inch like printing paper. I use the the hand pockets for just that-- hands with occasional other items but for safety would much prefer an interior zipper pocket for such things.
